I know it's technically still summer (for two more days!) but yesterday our weather changed and I whipped out my fur vest and it felt goooood. The other day my friend Danae walked into work with one incredible oversized scarf. It was the kind of scarf that could also work as a blanket in an emergency. Those scarves are the best. So naturally, I'm on the hunt for one. What do you think of these ones?

FRIDAY FAVES // ANKLE BOOTS

So I'm on the hunt. I want to find a great fall boot. I've tried in the past but I haven't found "the one". But this year I'm determined to cash in my birthday moola for the perfect ankle boot.

It's Friday...hoooraaay! Do you have any big weekend plans? James and I are heading up island with some peeps from our church for a little worship retreat. Another #imwiththeband trip for me :) But I'm excited to hang on a lake with amazing peeps and enjoy one last weekend of summer of bonfires and tanning (it's going to be 25 degrees, that's still summer to me!!)

Mountain top bliss

If you follow me on instagram, you'll know I was in Whistler this past weekend with James' family. We had an incredible time and I have A LOT of pics to show you but for now I have a long overdue wardrobe post! (I'm very thankful for understanding family who were so patient while we snapped these pics mid-hike...ha!)

You may notice that we aren't showing you our shoes. That's because we were both wearing bright neon nikes....ha! We don't own hiking shoes and did not want to hike in something that would mess us up, so bright neon nikes it was.

FRIDAY FAVOURITES // AGENDAS

Ok, so today's Friday Favourites is for all your planner type freaks out there. I can call ya a freak, because I'm one of you! I get a rush from opening my agenda and seeing all my little appointments and plans...ha. So when Kate Spade 18-month agendas came out in June, I knew I NEEDED ONE. These ones (except for the red Minnie Mouse one) all started the first week of August and will carry you through until December 2015!

FRIDAY FAVOURITES // ONE PIECE SWIMSUITS

About 8 years ago I bought a beautiful one piece bathing suit from a local boutique. It was 50's style polka dot and it was actually flattering!! It's worn out in the butt so I can't get away with wearing it anymore, so I'm on the hunt for a new one. PTL you can now buy beautiful one pieces that actually look good...we've come along way!

How cute are those suits? I think my favourite is the black & white geometric print one. Hope you have a fabulous weekend! We head back to Canada tomorrow at 5am...yaaaay! I am honestly soo excited to get home...cuddles with Coco, running with a cool ocean breeze, church, friends, my bed...can't hardly wait.

p.s. I have A LOT to say on the topic of swimsuits/body image but I didn't want to write a hurried post. Last week, I heard of this thing called the "bikini bridge" and I got LIVID. I'll be posting more on body image next week...until then, love who you are and enjoy the beach without shame!!!
